While in graduate school, I served as editor-in-chief of a literary journal called Phoebe. This entailed reviewing submissions, handling the layout of the journal in InDesign, soliciting artwork, managing a literary contest, and interviewing authors.

PEN/Faulkner Intern

Also, while in graduate school, I interned at the PEN/Faulkner Foundation in Washington, DC for two years, assisting with the reading series and the writers-in-schools program.

Creating Writing Instructor

I have taught creative writing to middle school and high school students through the WritopiaLab program in Washington, DC.
